Litigation Attorney

We are currently looking to add an experienced personal injury attorney to our litigation team. The candidate we are looking for is a motivated self-starter with 2-10 years of experience in Personal Injury litigation and enjoys all aspects of trial work. Our firm takes a very personal hands-on approach with our clients to obtain the best possible results for their case. We strive for high standards of representation and overall client satisfaction, and YOU will be instrumental in meeting these goals.
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
- Create relationships with clients and guide them through the litigation process
- Work with clients and medical providers regarding medical treatment
- Work with opposing counsel and the courts system
- Research case law, statutes, jury verdicts, etc.
- Prepare Demands, Motions, Discovery, Disclosures, etc.
- Participate in Mediations, Depositions and Trial
Qualifications/Skills:
- A minimum of two – ten years of hands-on experience as a personal injury attorney with a working knowledge of personal injury law in Colorado.
- Must possess strong written, analytical, and organizational skills (fluent in written and spoken English).
- Professional Writing Skills: able to draft professional documents that are free of grammar and spelling mistakes.
- Excellent People Skills: able to deal empathetically with clients who are injured and scared, while still maintaining professionalism. Must be aware of and sensitive to cultural differences.
- Competent Computer Skills: able to learn new programs quickly and accurately. Needles database experience is a plus.
- Strong Critical Thinking Skills: able to problem solve, follow instructions, be creative, use discretion, ask questions when necessary and be detail oriented.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Must be able to work as part of a team.
- Must be currently licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.
- Must be able to work full time in office and be fully vaccinated
Salary range – $100 – $200K

Duties/Description of Job:
Support litigation team, which includes litigation attorneys and litigation paralegal by ensuring that cases are up to date with scheduling events, litigation and supportive documents are saved and up to date in file, and calendar is up to date.
- Supporting 2 Litigation attorneys and 1 Litigation Paralegal
- Assisting the Litigation Paralegal with daily duties, primarily scheduling and docketing
- Format, proofread, and finalize detailed correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents
- Filing documents in state and federal courts
- Calendaring case deadlines, hearings, meetings, and other events
- Researching court rules and requirements
- Organizing files and documents
- Providing case status updates to clients
- Preparing letters, memos, etc.
- Performing other duties as needed
ADDITIONAL NOTES
- Bilingual candidate is a plus (English/Spanish)

Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Litigation Paralegal to be the backbone of our trial team for a fast-paced Personal Injury practice. You will be responsible for the coordination of all the details before, during and after trial. The successful candidate will be able to provide assistance during all phases of the litigation process including conducting interviews, legal research, document filing and attending trials. Strong knowledge of Colorado and Federal Court systems, policy deadlines and rules of civil procedure. This is an in office full time position.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in personal injury litigation
- Proven working experience as a Litigation Paralegal
- Excellent organizational, communication, writing, and research skills along with attention to detail
- Extensive trial experience and mediation preparation
- Knowledge of state and federal statutes, rules, and procedures
- Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, and litigation documentation

Legal Intake Specialist
About us – Currently seeking an outstanding candidate to fill our Legal Intake Specialist full-time position. Position entails communicating with potential new clients, the initial investigation of their claims, working with the paralegals on open active personal injury cases, communicating with medical providers and insurance companies and more.
Duties and Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of a legal intake specialist is to set up and manage the processes of onboarding new and prospective clients who are a good fit for our law firm. Some key legal intake specialist job duties are:
- Interviewing prospective clients by phone and email to become familiar with their cases and establish rapport immediately
Answer calls and emails from potential clients about their claims, determine whether to schedule for attorney intake, to send for review, or to reject. Conducting basic research to investigate whether prospective clients’ claims have merit
- Evaluating prospective clients’ claims to determine whether they’re in line with the areas of practice and experience of the firm
- Scheduling initial consultation appointments with attorneys for promising potential clients. Send out via DocuSign: contingent fee agreements, disclosure, and intake packet with client releases. Ensure documents are returned and saved to file.
- Onboarding new clients by filling out necessary paperwork and putting together initial case files
- Entering client information into computer systems. Post all new cases on intake sheets from Lead Docket into Needles promptly and accurately.
- Performing administrative support tasks as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
To perform well in legal intake specialist careers, candidates need certain qualifications. Some skills that can contribute to success when completing legal intake specialist job duties include:
- Customer service skills to make prospective clients feel welcome
- High-level listening skills to gain a thorough understanding of claims

- Multitasking ability to move quickly from one inquiry to another
- Knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, email and database software (Needles)
- Ability to speak and write in Spanish is a plus
- Save any photos’ and/or documents potential new clients send in shared folder
- Become familiar with our referral list to help direct and refer callers we cannot help.
- Complete marketing projects within given deadline.
- Help the paralegals with data entry and other office tasks in downtime.
- Send out Thank You notes to providers/attorneys who refer PNCs.
- Help create a positive team environment by communicating with each team member to ensure all potential new clients are given prompt attention.
- Keep up to date with all Lead Docket tasks and responsibilities
- Connect with after hours intakes if a potentially viable case – after hours compensation provided
- Knowledge of Lead Docket software a plus
- Spanish speaking a plus
