On August 14, 2020 The Law Offices of Dianne Sawaya experienced a tremendous loss. Jossline Roland, the firm administrator, and her husband Joseph were both victims of an armed robbery in Aurora, Colorado that resulted in their death.
Jossline will be sorely missed by our firm and all who have worked with her over the years. Jossline and her husband were hosts for many firm functions and to several at our firm they were dear personal friends.
We are grateful that a suspect has been arrested as the Aurora Police Department moves forward with its investigation.
A memorial service and burial were held Aug. 31 at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
We thank all of those in the legal community, former clients, and staff who have reached out to our firm to convey their sympathies, condolences, and resources.
Compounding the tragedy of this great loss is that Jossline and Joe are survived by five children.
A GoFundMe page has been established to contribute to the immediate financial needs of the family.
Feeling compelled to do something the firm has established a trust fund to provide for the future educational needs of the four minor Roland children. Any donations to the trust would be greatly appreciated and can be made by check payable to “Jossline Roland Children’s Trust,” c/o Colorado Fund for People with Disabilities, 1355 S.
