Ashlyn Smith is a personal injury attorney licensed in Colorado, Louisiana, Texas, and North Carolina. Originally from Louisiana, Ashlyn earned her undergraduate degree in English with minors in Political Science and Sociology from Louisiana State University, where she was also a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She went on to earn her law degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU in 2022, finishing in the top third of her graduating class.
After law school, Ashlyn served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Judge Raymond Bigelow of the 19th Judicial District Court in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Following her clerkship, she began her career in personal injury litigation, handling a wide range of plaintiff’s personal injury matters from intake through resolution.
Ashlyn began working at The Law Offices of Dianne Sawaya in January of 2025, where she continues to advocate for injured clients throughout Colorado and beyond. She is passionate about helping individuals navigate the legal system with clarity and compassion and has been responsible for recovering significant settlements on behalf of her clients.
In her free time, Ashlyn enjoys advocating for underserved communities and cheering on all of LSU’s athletic teams—especially football and women’s basketball. Geaux Tigers!
