Hit-and-Run Driver Injures Woman and Young Girl in Denver, Colorado

On December 9, 2015, a woman and her nine-year-old niece were struck and injured in a hit-and-run accident by a green sport utility vehicle at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Eisenhower Boulevard. The victims told police the driver made eye contact with them but drove away after the incident. Both victims were treated by paramedics but not transported to the hospital.

Pedestrian Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run in Longmont, Colorado

Another pedestrian was struck and severely injured on December 12, 2015, in Longmont, Colorado. The woman was walking home from work when she was struck by a vehicle at the corner of Kimbark Street and Ninth Avenue. She was transported to the hospital with severe injuries.

Multi-Car Crash Kills One and Injures Three in Denver, Colorado

A multi-car crash took the life of one person and injured three other people in a crash on Interstate 70 in Denver on November 6, 2015. According to reports, the four-vehicle crash occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 70 at Brighton Boulevard at 11 p.m. The driver of a Hummer lost control of the vehicle, colliding with another car before crashing into a wall. Two more vehicles then collided. Police were investigating to determine if drugs and/or alcohol played a role in the automobile accident.

Actor in Car Crash on Interstate 70 in Glenwood Canyon, Colorado

On December 14, 2015, a popular actor was involved in an automobile accident on Interstate 70 in Glenwood Canyon. Another driver traveling at speeds over 75 mph spun out causing the actor to hit a wall in order to avoid colliding with the speeding vehicle. He was not injured. He said the guardrail prevented his vehicle from plunging into the Colorado River.

Drugs and Speed Likely Involved in Fatal Car Crash

One person was killed and two were injured in a single-car accident near Steamboat Springs, Colorado, on December 6, 2015, on U.S. 40. According to state troopers, speed and drug impairment may have contributed to the rollover accident that took the life of a college student and seriously injured the other two passengers. The vehicle left the roadway, traveled down an embankment, up another embankment, collided with a fence and then rolled over twice.

Brighton, Colorado, Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run

A bicyclist was hit and killed by a driver who left the scene of the accident on Brighton on November 9, 2015. The accident occurred around 8 p.m. in the 600 block of South Kunder Road. The vehicle in question struck the bicyclist from behind, knocking him off the bicycle.
